I’ve had a connection with animals for as long as I can remember. As a child you’d find me doodling under the cherry tree in my backyard while carrying on lengthy conversations with the squirrels and birds. Creating offered me a space to be anything I wanted, and what I wanted more than anything was spend my life making art.
Life took me on a different path for much of my adulthood, but in 2012 I reconnected with my love of painting and began my career as a working artist. Today, I remain happiest when bringing animals to life on paper.
I would describe my art as a celebration of nature and wildlife, infused with a whimsical spirit. Rather than committing myself to a single style, I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, blending bold colors and textures to create scenes that feel both magical and uplifting.
