This is a fine art print of my original watercolor painting of a lion and two curious mice.
As I was working on my lion I kept thinking about Aesop's fable, The Lion and the Mouse. In the story, a lion spares the life of a mouse who awakens him from a deep sleep. The mouse, grateful for the lion's gesture returns to help him escape from a snare. The morale of the story is that there is no creature so small that he does not have value.
