This is an original mixed media painting titled The Storyteller and was completed mainly using watercolor. The tusks, however, consist of three layers which brings out a good deal of texture and added interest. 
Mounted to a cradled wood panel and sealed with wax and resin, this piece will arrive ready to hang - no mat or frame required. Hand-signed by the artist. 
Elephants have undeniably strong bonds within their herd. They passionately care for their young, selflessly protect their elders and deeply mourn those whom they've lost. They are truly the storytellers of their generation.
